Based on feedback we've received from our customers we've made some changes to our image library that you can access within the Email and Landing Page editor, so lets have a look at what's changed.
Different Image banks
When you open the Image Library, you'll see 4 headings at the top - Account, Email. Template, Free. One thing we were asked about is a way of making sure that your image library isn't clogged up with images that are only ever used in 1 email, so we've separated it out for you.
Account - This is where you put images that you'll use multiple times (company branding for example). These images will always show in this header whenever you add an image block.
Email - This is where you upload images that will be used in this email only, this way your Account doesn't get filled up with images that you're only going to use once.
Template - If you're working on an email based on a pre made template saved in NewZapp, the images from that template will be stored here.
Free - Here is where you can access our licence free library of images.
Uploading and deleting in bulk
Now when you go to upload your images, you'll be able to upload all the images you'll use in an email at once, rather than 1 at a time.
Once you're done these images will then be listed in the header you've uploaded them to and you simply have to click Select next to the image in the list you'd like to use to populate the image block.
You can also delete in bulk - excellent for clearing out your Account header of images you've only used once! Just click the tick box next to the images you'd like to delete and the Delete button will light up and tell you how many images you have selected. Click that button to remove those images.
Increased file size
In the old version of the image library your images had to be a maximum of 1MB in size. This restriction no longer applies and you when you upload your image(s) you can upload a maximum of 20MB at a time.
