So you've created a survey and now you're ready for people to complete it. How do you send it out into the world?
There are two ways you can do this. The first way is to get the URL that you can then add to a hyperlink or button in an email that you've already built and is sitting in your drafts. To get this link all you need to do is click the Copy Link button at the top of the survey editor screen. This will automatically copy the URL to your clipboard.
You can also copy the URL from the survey dashboard by clicking the link icon.
The second way to send out your survey is by clicking the Distribute button, either within the survey editor or in the survey dashboard. When you click distribute you will automatically be taken through to the email editor where a pre loaded email template will be ready for you. The "Take Survey" button will have the link to the survey pre set up for you.
From this point the process is the same as if you were sending out an email campaign. You can edit the email however you need to and then click Next to proceed where you'll have the same 7 steps of checks so you can't send the email by accident.
If you want to back out of an email and come back to it later you can do so. The email won't show in your Email list under Create & Send, but your Survey list instead. Simply click the down arrow next to your survey and you can see all of the emails you've sent for this survey. If the email has a grey arrow then you can click back in and continue editing. If its green then it has been sent and you can no longer edit that email.
Once the email has been sent you will get the usual reporting information for this email that you would get from other emails sent in NewZapp. You can see this by clicking the Reports heading at the top of the screen. The email will then be in the list on the left.
