NewZapp's Report screen

NewZapp is an ever evolving beast and we're constantly updating it, making changes, and adding new features, which is why we've done a complete overhaul of our reporting screen. Everything you could do in our old reporting screen you can still, however there are some big changes that are worth pointing out.

The Overview screen

Now when you first click on the Reports tab at the top of the screen you'll see an overview screen where you can see how many emails you've sent as well as how many landing pages and surveys you've published in the current period, however you can click on the date in the top right corner to manually select a date range to review.

Reports Overview screen.

Clicking into any of these areas will bring up the reports for that type of content only. You'll see a list of the content type of that form (the exception being Contacts which will take you to your Contacts screen).

From here you can either click one of the records to see the data for that specific piece of content

Reports summary screen

or you can click Insight at the top of the screen to see reporting data for all of that content type in the date range which bring me on to the second major change.

Reporting across a date range

Screenshot of the Insights screen

In the previous version of Reports you had to look at each email or landing page individually, however now if you click the Insights tab, you'll be able to see information gathered across all of the reports.

Your Peak Engagement heat map becomes much easier to use as you can easily see when you had the best engagement across all of the emails sent in a period rather than having to check each email individually.

We're even providing data based on your subject line.

This is all well and good, but what if I want to see how my emails did this month, compared to last month or the same month last year? Well you can do that too! Click on the date filter in the top right of the screen and you'll be able to select the date range you want to see with a Compare toggle at the top to add in a second date range.

This will then show the data for the two date ranges side by side or even in the same graph where applicable.

Updates to Survey reporting

Its not just email reports that we've overhauled. We've changed the Survey results screen as well with its own Insights screen.
