How To Set Up the Power BI App

Login to your Power BI account and install the app via Microsoft AppSource. When your new app has successfully installed, click Go to App. You will also notice the new NewZapp tile on the Apps view.

When you first open the app you will see a notification bar. Click Connect your data

In the Connect to NewZapp dialog window which pops up you will need to provide your NewZapp API Key.

To get an API Key you will need to log in to your NewZapp account, we suggest doing this in a new tab or window so your Power BI screen remains open, and go to Account Settings under your avatar | Configuration and then click on API Keys. From here you will be able to create an API Key.

Then you can copy the key to your clipboard.

Now on the Connect to NewZapp dialog paste the API Key in to the API Key field and click Next. You do not need to change the value of Base URL.

On the next screen leave all fields as their defaults and click Sign In and Connect.

That’s it, you’re done, your data will now load in your new NewZapp Power BI Dashboard!
